CRiCity participated in the International Seminar on Environment and Society

Eunice Castro Seixas, Principal Investigator of the CRiCity project, participated in the International Seminar on Environment and Society “Current challenges and pathways to change”, on March 2 2020, Lisbon, with the paper: “Dimensões humanas e não humanas da sociabilidade e da regulação das crianças nos parques urbanos de Lisboa”.

This international seminar was organized by the Environment and Society Section of the Portuguese Sociological Association in collaboration with the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon, and the PhD program in Climate Change and Sustainable Development Policies.

The seminar aimed to:

i) stimulate discussion and broaden it to other areas of knowledge beyond sociology;

ii) encourage research in Portugal;

iii) promote international and interdisciplinary collaborations.

Above all, it is important to reflect on the established relationships between environment and society and their consequences for sustainability.
