RIGHT TO CHILDHOOD - Cycle of Movie Projections and Debates on Children’s Rights

The cycle of cinema projections and debates on Children’s Rights organized by the CRiCity team of Porto, will continue, with a new session with Catarina Tomás, Eunice Seixas and Manuel Sarmento, dedicated to the RIGHT TO CHILDHOOD. This event will take place at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto, at Anfiteatro Nobre, on October 18th at 17:30. The session is open to all and participation is free.


The cycle of cinema projections and debates on Children’s Rights, organized by the CRiCity team of Porto (João Teixeira Lopes, Lígia Ferro e Inês Barbosa) will continue with a new session, dedicated to the RIGHT TO CHILDHOOD.

The main purpose of this cycle of movie projections and debates is to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of the Rights of the Child and the 30 years of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

It is also an opportunity for disseminating the CRiCity project and building connections with national researchers working on issues related to children’s rights to the city.

As the previous sessions, there will be a film projection of short movies, followed by a debate with the invited speakers and then, with the public attending the event.

This event will take place at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto, at Anfiteatro Nobre, on October 18th at 17:30.

The session is open to all and participation is free.
