PhD in Economic and Organisational Sociology from the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa. Degree in Sociology from the Instituto Superior de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa (ISCTE).

Researcher in the areas of international migration, demography and economic sociology.
