Constantino Gonçalves Alves

Constantino Gonçalves Alves has a Master's degree in Social Work and in Philosophy and Theology from the Catholic University. PhD student in Economic and Organisational Sociology at ISEG-ULisboa. He works in social intervention in poor neighbourhoods of Setúbal. His research focuses on the transformations in the world of work and their personal, professional, economic, social and family consequences, in the life paths of workers and unemployed people and active involvement in innovative experiences and devices of social intervention, in the area of social and solidarity economy in the fight against poverty and social exclusion, as alternatives to the exclusionary capitalist society.
