Specialization, Post-graduation Latu Sensu in Management of micro and small business by Universidade Federal de Lavras/MG (1999). Inter-institutional MSC in Business Administration – concentration in technology, quality and competitiveness – agreement between Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC), and Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia (UESB), 2003, with the dissertation entitled: QUALIFICAÇÃO PROFISSONAL OU AQUISIÇÃO DE COMPETÊNCIAS? TENDÊNCIAS E PERSPECTIVAS NO SETOR BANCÁRIO: Um estudo de caso no Banco do Brasil.

Current Professional Activity Professor since 1996 in UESC – UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE SANTA CRUZ, BAHIA - BRASIL, and in private and public institutions - in the area of Management, Organizational Theories, Research Methods in Social Sciences, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management.
He is currently Professor in the area of Administration and Coordinator of the Administration Course at UESC.
Domains of Research The research activity has focused on the area of Organizational Innovation and Entrepreneurship, with two research projects linked to management and innovation processes of organizations.
