- Solidarity Fishing Network, based on the following institutions: ProVárzea (Brazil), SOCIUS/ISEG-UTL (Portugal); SOLTEC/UFRJ (Brazil), UFRJmar (Brazil), WFT (Canada), UNIMONTES (Brazil), Women’s Movement (GRAAL-Brazil), The Fishermen’s Colony of Macaé (Z-3/Brazil), Buritizeiro (Z-21/Brazil) and Ibiaí (Z-20/Brazil), FUNEMAC/Macaé. This network was set up in 2006, with the fundamental aim to include other countries (Angola, Mozambique, Guinea, Cape Verde, São Tomé and Princípe, East Timor).
